About the Journal

Published in Portugal (three issues/year), Etnográfica is a journal of social and cultural anthropology which publishes original articles in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. Covering a wide range of ethnographic contextes, the journal stresses high-quality empirical research, varied analytical perspectives and theorical innovation. Articles selected by the Editorial Committee are subjected to double-blind peer review by two experts in the field. Etnográfica is indexed in the main social science databases, the journal is present in international rankings.
