About the Journal

Published in Portugal (three issues/year), Etnográfica is a journal of social and cultural anthropology which publishes original articles in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. Covering a wide range of ethnographic contextes, the journal stresses high-quality empirical research, varied analytical perspectives and theorical innovation. Articles selected by the Editorial Committee are subjected to double-blind peer review by two experts in the field. Etnográfica is indexed in relevant social science databases and colections such as Anthropological Index Online, EBSCO,, SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science – SciELO Citation Index.
