About the Journal

Published in Portugal (three issues/year), Etnográfica is a journal of social and cultural anthropology which publishes original articles in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. Covering a wide range of ethnographic contextes, the journal stresses high-quality empirical research, varied analytical perspectives and theorical innovation. Articles selected by the Editorial Committee are subjected to double-blind peer review by two experts in the field. Etnográfica is indexed in relevant social science databases and colections such as Anthropological Index Online, EBSCO, Revues.org, SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science – SciELO Citation Index.
